Antarctica

Antarctica is the southernmost continent and site of the South Pole. It is virtually uninhabited, and almost totally ice-covered. Most cruises to this continent visit the Antarctic Peninsula, which stretches toward South America. It is known for the Lemaire Channel, Paradise Harbor, iceberg-flanked passageways, and Port Lockroy (a former British research station which is now a museum). The peninsula’s isolated terrain also shelters rich wildlife, including many penguins.

There will soon be links here to get expert advice as to how to go about exploring this amazing place.
