Fitness while Traveling

fitness: exercising while traveling

While it is definitely not always easy, exercising while traveling is so very important to:

  • help reduce stress;
  • promote better sleep;
  • increase energy levels;
  • promote strong muscles and bones;
  • improve respiratory, cardiovascular, and overall health;
  • help maintain a healthy weight;
  • reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes, and heart disease;
  • and reduce the risk for some cancers.

With some advance planning and creativity, you can take your workout routine anywhere (yes, anywhere in the world!). You don’t even need fancy equipment or tons of space to work your core muscle groups.

Here’s some advice from Nomads that have experienced the “fitness issue” (i.e. trying to tackle exercising while traveling), and have overcome it successfully!
